As I look to eliminate more dairy (causes inflammation & mucus forming; modern dairy products are loaded with hormones, antibiotics etc.) from our diet, I’ve been reading up on substitutes. I stopped drinking milk around 7 years ago and have not missed it at all. My youngest son, age 10, loves cow’s milk. His younger sister, age 9, is on board for the change.
So we bought a 2 litre container of what I thought was Coconut Milk. It was, in fact, “Coconut Beverage”. I had no idea of the difference until I read The Coconut Miracle Cookbook (in its 5th printing).
Coconut oil has amazing health benefits! When I saw this book on sale at Chapter’s, I had to grab it! I think it was a steal at $2.50 🤗 Do you know the difference between coconut milk and coconut water??
This is a great book for the kitchen and it will inspire you to start incorporating it into your diet 👌 two tablespoons a day is the recommendation for adults.
