As I look to eliminate more dairy (causes inflammation & mucus forming; modern dairy products are loaded with hormones, antibiotics etc.) from our diet, I’ve been reading up on substitutes. I stopped drinking milk around 7 years ago and have not missed it at all. My youngest son, age 10, loves cow’s milk. His younger sister, age 9, is on board for the change.
So we bought a 2 litre container of what I thought was Coconut Milk. It was, in fact, “Coconut Beverage”. I had no idea of the difference until I read The Coconut Miracle Cookbook (in its 5th printing).

This is a great book for the kitchen and it will inspire you to start incorporating it into your diet 👌 two tablespoons a day is the recommendation for adults.

My face breaks out in a huge grin whenever I come across evidence that the children have been enjoying themselves. So you can imagine how large my smile was when I walked in and saw these books fanned out on the bathroom floor. 

Clearly, my youngest daughter had been using the bathroom last, if it had been my son, the selection of books would be about military aviation. 

This surge of happiness wrestled with the panic about the books being in such an unsanitary situation. 😂

Evidence that the love of reading has been passed on makes me feel like a million bucks. Books are simply amazing. 🙌

By the amount of people addicted to open and cheating on their spouses, I’d say they’ve succeeded in that area.

I never thought I’d be laughing and reading a book on financial strategies in a million years but that’s exactly what happened while I read Dave Chilton’s ‘The Wealthy Barber Returns’.

I’m currently reading Increase Your Financial IQ by Robert Kiyosaki that I picked up at Nuggets Used Books in Chilliwack. I love Donald Trump’s endorsement. I recently started collecting books from the financial section! When I was 18 I had RRSP’s and when I was 22 or so I cashed them in to pay the bills. That was nearly 20 years ago! 

Time to make up for lost time. Crushing about the lost benefits of compound interest. But it is what it is and you move on. While I have been slow to obtain financial riches I am very rich in love, from my family and friends, and I value that a whole lot more ❤️

But it’s never too late to start.  So here’s to really focusing on my financial goals so that I’m able to secure a mortgage in the future 🙌

The Disease Conspiracy

After investing in my health by drinking high alkaline, ionized water, I have been trying to learn as much as possible about natural says to cure cancer.
I picked this gem up tonight for my new library on nutrition at The Book Man in Chilliwack for $8. That was $8 well spent. I’ve started glancing through the pages. I’ll read through it and write up a little summary in the near future.

Kurt Cobain, Clearly Murdered

  
I’m in the process of finishing Love and Death, with only a few dark chapters left to go. Up until a few weeks ago, I really didn’t know anything about Kurt Cobain, or his death, except that it had been declared a suicide. Reading Love and Death has opened my eyes to a very twisted and tragic situation that everyone should be aware of.

With the anniversary of Kurt’s murder approaching, I hope more evidence comes to light and that Tom Frank, Courtney Love’s former Private Investigator, is able to fully expose this disgusting immoral act.
